Now Live: v0.186

Update v0.186 has a lot of changes that you might not notice, but you definitely do feel. Here are some of the highlights:

  • Cleaner, better-organized round summaries. Every round type's end-of-round recap was rebuilt from scratch — each one now shows a recap tailored to that game (mini game-boards, per-question breakdowns, who solved what).
  • Streamlined ready-up between rounds. A cleaner ready-up bar with a clear "X of Y ready" tally, so you can see who's lagging behind and give them a very polite nudge.
  • Redesigned lobby & game settings. A fresh, more organized lobby layout and a single Game Settings panel to adjust the length of your game as well as which rounds and categories you do or don't want to see during your session. Best of all, these settings can now be saved between sessions, so you won't have to customize it every time out.
  • Reconnect right where you left off. If your network connection drops mid-game and then recovers, you'll rejoin straight back into the current round right away (most of the time). It's a massive improvement from where we were before. The host player still needs to maintain a stable connection throughout a game, however. We'll look to improve the host's ability to recover mid-game in a future update.
  • Improved performance when using your mobile device as a controller in Local Games.
  • Expanded, cleaned, improved question pools throughout the game (especially in the new Sort It Out round!)
  • Moved the bug reporting tool into the settings menu AND set F2 as a hotkey to pull the bug report tool up right away.
  • All kinds of polish game-wide (check out the redesigned Secret Scribble round!)

Plus (as always) so much more that we won't bore you with. Keep the bug reports coming and we'll do better on the next one!
